‘Semiconductors Can Revive Global Economy,’ Says SEAJ Chair

Higashi stressed the significance of “innovating technologies to pioneer the future” as the attitude that the manufacturing equipment industry must take under such severe circumstances. In addition to technologies that seek to push the limits of miniaturization in accordance with “Moore’s Law,” manufacturing technologies that support technical evolutions other than miniaturization will gain importance, he said.
