Market shares shift in the disk array race

According to a recent report from IDC, the external disk array market posted a 17.1% year-over-year revenue gain in Q1 2010, hitting $5 billion.

Overall, the open SAN market grew 20.3%, while the NAS market grew 44.6% and the iSCSI market gained 45.7%.
