VoIP becoming more “mainstream”

According to BT, the number of SMEs in the UK using VoIP is set to nearly double in the next 12 months, from 25 per cent to 48 per cent.

“Internet telephony is definitely now a mainstream technology helping businesses to link together, reducing costs and making communications more effective,” he commented.

He added that as more and more companies decided to switch to VoIP, the calling options offered by the service would increase.
