Only 48 percent of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) trust the security provided by Internet protocol (IP) telephony. Meanwhile, 76 percent trust the security of traditional telephony systems. That’s according to a survey of 300 U.S. SMBs carried out by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), recently known for its work on a radio frequency identification (RFID) technology certification.
