The Case For BI Tools

Little wonder, then, that midsize companies seeking to reduce costs and boost efficiencies and productivity are starting to turn to BI tools, according to a recent report from Aberdeen Group. “Many companies, particularly smaller organizations, suffer from a lack of transparency when it comes to the key aspects of their business that drive performance,” writes Aberdeen analyst Michael Lock in “BI for the SMB 2009.” “As a result, data show that SMBs are also turning to BI in order to improve visibility into these business processes.”
