Fixed Mobile Convergence Solutions Drive 4x Increased Mobility at Best-in-Class Organizations

In the newly released benchmark report “Fixed Mobile Convergence in the Enterprise,” Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks Company (NYSE: HHS), found that Best-in-Class organizations that have deployed FMC solutions have benefited from significantly higher levels of employee performance and workflow efficiencies, all the while significantly improving the speed of the decision making process.

The report analyzed organizations’ planning, deployment, use, and management of FMC solutions to better understand how Best-in-Class organizations leverage these technologies across the ever-expanding global marketplace. As part of their strategy to increase workforce flexibility, Best-in-Class organizations employ a variety of top-down driven policy initiatives, processes, and mobility-focused technologies such as WiFi-enabled smartphones, WLANs and unified communications solutions. In fact, Best-in-Class organizations invested 75% more than all other organizations on mobility solutions. Through these investments, Best-in-Class organizations enjoyed a 55% increase in their workforce’s mobility in the last 12 months — more than four times all other organizations.
